Larimer County’s Fort Collins, home of Colorado State University, is also the state’s second largest beer producer, with brands like Fat Tire, Z Lager, Poudre Pale Ale and those ubiquitous Buds, Lite and regular. Festival-style celebrations go hand-in-hand with Fort Collins, where June alone hosts WineFest, Poudre River Fest, Taste of Fort Collins, the Colorado Bug Classic, and the Colorado Brewers Festivals. Summer’s end brings WestFest.
